How to tie a lure to the sennit line

Tie the sennit to the baiting How to tie a spoon, wobblers, leash, hook, dog and God knows what else. Such questions from beginners are asked every day for a hundred times. And although the answers are given no less, I will also contribute to the resolution of such things. After all, they are simple only for those who already know them. So, all the same, how to tie a spoon to the cord?

Knit a spoonbin or a leash to the cord and line – these are different cases. Nodes that are suitable for fishing line, for the cord are not suitable, because they can slip. And the methods by which a cord is knitted – can weaken the line in knots, etc. Perhaps, only the way a loop in a loop is equally good for fishing line and cord. But in this post I will examine the method of uncoupled connection for the cord, one of the best ways of fixing the Kevlar cord, which I constantly use.Blesna, KnotsBlesna, KnotsBlesna, KnotsBlesna, Knots

For an unconditioned connection, you need a leash, a cord and a wire lock with a special design. Although the essence of the wire lock is quite understandable from the photos, I will devote it to making a separate post. I promise 🙂

So, in order to securely fix the leash on the cord, we fix the wire lock with one end for the swivel of the leash (or the ring of spoon-bait, if you risk catching without leash …).

A loop is sewn at the end of the cord. For this, the cord is folded and the double part is tied with an ordinary double knot. The knot is tightened and a loop is obtained. The excess end of the cord is cut off, but not under the knot, but left 2-3mm, to ensure that it does not dissolve under load.

Bend the cord

We knit a double knot

Then, the resulting loop is put on the protruding end of the wire lock, as you can see in the corresponding photo. Then, the cord is tightly wound on the wire clockwise, if you look at the end of the cord. Now, the cord is fixed. To do this, it is looped into the end of the wire lock. The loop is not deaf and you can easily drag the cord into the tight gap between the contacting sides of the wire.

Everything is very simple and very effective. As a result, there are no nodes on the cord, it does not weaken. A non-threaded connection is the most common and well-proven method of binding baits to a cord. He never let me down. I recommend it to you too!
